My son's OT actually recommended this grip and after two weeks his fingers finally sit right on the pencil instead of sliding down. It's a snug fit on his regular No. 2 pencils and hasn't popped off once.

The standard size fits all our pencils perfectly, and my son finally holds his pencil the right way without me nagging. His teacher noticed the difference within a week.

My daughter’s OT suggested these and I can see why — the grip’s standard size slid right onto her regular pencils and her hand finally stays in that proper tripod position without me nagging. It’s been two weeks of daily homework and she hasn’t complained once about it feeling awkward.
