This 17-piece railroad set can go wherever you go! Set up the buildings, place the train, park ranger car, and gondola on their tracks, then slide them around for some classic train set fun. When done, just place the pieces down in the wooden case and snap it shut for easy cleanup and transportation!  Early childhood games such as this one are said to help the development of motor skills and independence.

The gondola clicks securely onto the track, which keeps it from derailing when my son pushes it around the living room floor. I love that it all packs into the included storage box for trips to grandma's house.

My 3-year-old loves sliding the park ranger car around the track, and the set is nicely compact for travel. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that the tracks can be a bit tricky to snap together securely, but once they’re set, it’s great fun.
