Magic Loops are bands of wire shapes, connected together, that twist and fold into amazing designs. This cool toy is a great fidget for the autism and sensory needs population. They can maneuver the toy into many different shapes and keep their hands busy in situations where staying focused is difficult such as school, church, or in the car.
I’ve had this for two days and I’m already obsessed with how the connected wire shapes snap into new patterns with just a flick of the wrist. It’s quiet enough for my desk at work, and the twisting motion is oddly calming when I’m stressed.
I’ve been twisting these wire shapes for an hour and they still surprise me with new patterns. The magnetic feel and satisfying click when they lock into place make it perfect for keeping my hands busy.
My fidget bag just got a new favorite. The wire bands fold into little stars and hearts, and I catch myself twisting them while reading. The clicking sound is soft enough that my coworkers don't notice during meetings.
