My three-year-old loves the way the sand sifts through her fingers – it's so soft and keeps her busy while building those fine motor skills.

My daughter spends a solid hour molding little shapes with this, and I love that it never dries out like the cheap stuff we tried before. The tools that come with it are chunky enough for her small hands, which makes the whole thing way less frustrating for her.

The sand holds its shape when my son squeezes it into little balls, then crumbles apart when he pokes it, which keeps him busy way longer than regular play dough ever did. I've noticed his grip getting steadier when he pinches off smaller pieces, so it's quietly doing the fine motor work too.
