The soft fabric feels great against my skin, and the rainbow light is just bright enough to create a calm atmosphere without being distracting. My son with SPD finally sleeps through the night with this pillow.##
The rainbow glow is soft enough to read by without being harsh, and my daughter loves picking which color to set before bed. The fabric has a velvety feel that she keeps rubbing between her fingers.
My son calms down almost instantly when I hand him this pillow at bedtime. The soft texture plus that slow color fade does more for him than any nightlight we've tried.
