I wish I'd had this when my first kid was a baby. The section on nursing basics and SIDS alone would've saved me so much middle-of-the-night Googling. It somehow makes the speech development stuff at the end just as readable as the early chapters.

The facial massage chapter alone was worth the price — I started doing the little strokes with my son during tummy time and he actually tolerates it. Also appreciated the honest section on SIDS instead of the usual vague warnings.

I bought this when my daughter was six months old and wish I'd found it sooner. The SIDS section gave me clear, practical steps that actually helped me feel more in control at bedtime. Already passed it along to two mom friends.
