The wooden blocks are chunkier than I expected at 2 inches, which makes the flipping motion really satisfying in the hand. I left it on the coffee table and now everyone who visits picks it up and can't put it down.
I bought this for my desk and keep flipping it during meetings — the two-inch wood squares have a nice weight and the ribbon hasn't frayed after weeks of use. It's simple but weirdly hard to put down.
My kids fight over it, which says everything. The blocks flip down so smoothly that even I keep grabbing it off the coffee table to show visitors how the illusion works. Bright paint and the 2-inch size make it feel chunky and satisfying in your hands.
