My son loves watching the colorful gears turn inside the clear car body. The lights and music are a bonus, but the spinning mechanism itself is what keeps him engaged for ages.
Pressed the button expecting the usual noisy toy, but the music is actually pleasant and the lights aren't blinding. My nephew carries it everywhere and the gears keep him calm on car rides. Battery's still going after two weeks of daily use.
My son is obsessed with the spinning gears, he just watches them turn instead of actually driving it around. The button is easy enough for him to press himself, so he's been cycling through the music all afternoon.
