The triangular shape actually keeps these from rolling off the table, which I didn't expect to care about until it saved me from picking crayons off the floor ten times a day. Colors go down really smooth and bright thanks to the beeswax, and they've survived being dropped and stepped on so far.
My 4-year-old grips these way better than the round ones we had before, no more slipping out of her hand mid-stroke. The beeswax makes the color go down really smooth and bright, and they've survived being dropped on the tile more than once.
The triangular shape is a lifesaver—my 3-year-old can grip them properly and they don't roll off the table mid-drawing. The colors glide on so buttery smooth, and after a week of heavy use, not one has snapped or chipped yet.
